Road Trip Journal is an online magazine offering interesting articles and blogs to assist in road trip planning research and decision making. You can help by offering your lively descriptions of destinations and practical information, such as insider advice and specific recommendations. Are you interested in making a little extra spending money?

We would like to purchase your blog entries and articles. In addition, beginning January 2009, we will choose 5 entries monthly as "Editors Picks". In a survey format, visitors will be asked to read and vote for their favorite article. One blogger and one visitor will be chosen monthly to win prizes. At the end of the calendar year, one of the 12 previous bloggers will be chosen for a grand prize package.

Bloggers:

Do you have a blog or online journal? Are you looking for increased traffic? Do you like to write about different destinations? Who better to learn from than those who have been there and done that?!

Blog entries should be state or travel category specific and titled appropriately for our “Been There-Done That, Blogs and Journals from the road” section on each state home page. Blogs about specific destinations should be kept narrow, instead of offering a piece about "Florida", we'd prefer something along the lines of "Great Family Park in Destin, Fl.". We will not republish entries with a persons full name unless they are the author. We reserve the right to include advertising with the republished blogs.

All submissions will be considered Non-exclusive. Non-exclusive rights will grant Road Trip Journal the right to republish the blog or journal entry as an article, all other rights remain with the author.

Writers:

Road Warriors prefer small towns off the beaten path. Is your town a great destination? Are you looking to increase the tourism in your area? We are looking for interesting things to do and places to see in small towns across the country. We would like articles that give us an overview of a small town that would interest Road Warriors. Articles should be detailed descriptions of the surrounding natural area, seasonal activities and unique destinations. We reserve the right to include advertising with the article.

All submissions will be considered exclusive. Exclusive rights will grant ownership to Road Trip Journal.
